Dakota Diva Book Reviews

  • Closing the Deal  by Marie Harte
    AUDIO BOOK / April 28, 2019

At 3 hours and 45 minutes this audio book is a quick listen.  It is the story of Derrick and Sydney and although too quick to get into a lot of depth, I really enjoyed it. There are sex scenes, somewhat graphic, so if that's not your thing you should skip this.  On another note, I thought the voice actress Emma Wilder did a good job reading the parts, sometimes this can make or break an audio book....

    WOMEN'S FICTION , AUDIO BOOK / April 05, 2018

I have had two experiences with ment....

  • RoomHate  by Penelope Ward
    FICTION , AUDIO BOOK / July 08, 2017

I like to listen to audiobooks as I use my elliptical. It is a great way to pass the time when you are tired of reruns on TV. RoomHate by Penelope Ward was my latest choice. My library has an app called Hoopla that allows audio lending and that's where I found this. I had no idea what it was about, but the narrator's voice passed the initial "listen test" so I gave it a chance. (Yes, I have stoppe....
